Wendy was born July 3rd 1971 in Flint, MI. She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer on March 25th 2004. Though she lost her courageous battle on June 7th 2012, she continues to live in our memories forever. She grew up in Clio and also lived in South Haven, Holland and most recently in Grand Blanc. She was a quintessential mid-western girl at heart. Known for her quick wit and smart comebacks, she made friends with everyone she came across. She was a very strong woman and "fought like a girl" against Ovarian cancer. She was actively involved with Gilda's Club, Relay for Life and Meals on Wheels. She absolutely loved her dogs and enjoyed kayaking, photography and watching NASCAR. She adored everything purple as you might have guessed from the recurring theme on this website. Whenever she was in pain, she would always say "It hurts, but I will be okay." Such was her strength that she continues to inspire her family, friends and everyone else she touched in her life.
